💜 Welcome to Hervey Bay Women’s Shed!

Hervey Bay Women’s Shed Inc. was established in 2023 to give local women a friendly and welcoming place to meet, learn new skills, get creative and have a bit of fun along the way.

You don’t need to know how to use tools or have any DIY experience. Some of our members love building and fixing things, others enjoy crafts and creative projects, and some simply come along for the company and a cuppa ☕.

We run a range of hands-on workshops and activities including DIY, home maintenance, tools, building projects, crafts and more 🔨🎨. Everything is designed to suit different skill levels, so whether you’re trying something for the first time or already know your way around a toolbox, you’re welcome.

The Shed is also about meeting people, having a chat, sharing ideas and making new friends. We want it to be a place where women feel comfortable giving things a go, asking questions and learning from each other.

Throughout the year we also hold social activities, community events and fundraisers 🎉. These help us keep improving the Shed, buy equipment and offer more activities for our members.

Most importantly, we’re here to create a supportive local community where women can build confidence, learn something new and enjoy spending time together. 💜
